Hand built in Canada, with enhanced low frequency abilities and a slightly softer mid-range, the LXD Series are the most versatile drivers AVI makes. They share many of the features of our MX Series, including alloy frames and massive magnets, but the LXD Series have longer voice coils and suspensions optimized for mid-bass use. The mica-graphite-polypropoylene cones have a high stiffness to weight ratio and improved mid-bass definition. The most extended, best controlled low frequency response is achieved in properly designed enclosures, but the LXD Series drivers are tolerant of virtually any mounting arrangement.
