Light weight, compact size, and powerful output are the hallmarks of the AVI P2 series professional speakers. The P2-10M1 is a small 2-way speaker system employing a rugged 250mm (10") LF driver with a 50mm (2") voice coil, for smooth vocal output and extended midrange. High frequencies are reproduced by a 25mm (1") exit compression driver, coupled to our exclusive 90x60 degree cast-aluminium horn flare. The driver has a 44mm (1.8") voice coil, and titanium diaphragm, for clean midrange definition and natural high frequency output. A sophisticated internal crossover network filters, equalizes and combines the transducers precisely, minimizing distortion and lobing effects. The acoustically optimized enclosure is constructed from Baltic Birch plywood, for superior strength and sound quality, and is finished in a tough, textured black polyurethane coating. Suspension points are provided for hanging the AVI P2-10M1 in permanently installed sound systems.

The system is has a smooth, 'natural' sound quality, ideally suited for live performance venues, or hi-fi music playback in banquet halls, community centres, restaurants, nightclubs, health, sports and conference facilities, and shopping centres. For dance music playback, or other where more powerful bass output is demanded, the AVI P2-10M1 should be used with the AVI SW-380 subwoofer system. The small size makes it possible to install AVI P2-10M1 speakers in inconspicuous locations, and it may be painted to blend into any decor. Threaded inserts are provided for use with customer-supplied hanging hardware.

AVI loudspeakers are hand built in our own facility in Canada, using the finest components available, with sound quality as the primary design criterion. It is a fortunate coincidence that designing speakers for accuracy also makes them capable of stunning output levels.
