The AVI FRM-702 is a miniature loudspeaker system based upon our proprietary AVI FRM-70 wide-range driver, designed for applications where excellent sound and very compact dimensions are necessary. These advanced transducers feature cast aluminium chassis, with treated paper cones using damped-roll rubber suspensions. The moving assemblies are precisely driven by low mass voice coils in narrow gaps, using high flux neodymium magnets. Twin wide-range elements provide smooth response, with a hi-fi sound quality and generous output ability in a very small package. The all-aluminium enclosure is sealed for environmental protection, and creates a rugged and reliable speaker system, for high-quality installed sound systems. Its tiny dimensions and excellent vocal clarity make it useful for discrete paging similar application, as well as hi-fi playback, and it may be painted to blend into any decor.

By eliminating the passive crossover network, these AVI speaker systems provide constant and predictable dispersion, and a 'natural' sound quality, immediately noticeable with spoken word or vocal program material. Their small size makes them ideal for spoken word reinforcement and high quality music playback in offices, restaurants or conference rooms. They are excellent monitor speakers, for systems where the main speakers may be some distance from the system control location.
